Communications: Clear, open, and consistent. Follow-up and follow through!
Programs: Develop relevant CEUs to include Bus. Mtg., Membership Retention, Diversity, Fun Networking Activities, Encourage Awards Entry (for both industry partners & designers).
Show House: Host a Show House annually and ensure that at least 20% of designers/helpers are newer members of the profession.
Student Engagement: Make sure that ASID activities do not conflict with other organizational obligations or school activities. Focus on educating design students on the benefits of networking & ASID - create/develop written pathways to involvement and their success.
