Lindsey Root has been in the homebuilding and design industry for over 15 years, recently leaving the distribution side for a Communications leadership role with Laura U Design Collective, a nationally recognized, luxury design firm. The bulk of her experience is in the kitchen and bath categories where Lindsey was the Showroom Marketing Manager for Ferguson Enterprises in the greater Houston area. She is known for distinctive customer events, exceptional trade-specific incentive programs, unrivaled brand relationships and as a connector in the industry. During her career, Lindsey has been recognized as the Greater Houston Builders Association 2018 “Associate of the Year,” a part of the Supply House Times “Rep Agency of the Year” designation in 2022 alongside Southwest Sales, Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Remodeler’s Council Board member, Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Custom Builder’s Council Board member and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Enrichment and Ruby Awards Committee member. Lindsey served as Secretary/Treasurer for the National Kitchen & Bath Society (NKBA) in 2022 and currently sits in the Programs/Events seat on the Interior Design Society board. Prior to her dive into the distribution side of the building industry, Lindsey was in on-site sales for new construction custom and production builders and was raised by a builder dad and designer mom. She attended the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and currently lives in Houston with her husband.
